Joel Sheard, a local violinmaker has recently commenced Roleystone School of Violin Making and has transformed ‘Aspro Cottage’ into a violin-making studio/workshop.
Joel offers the following range of activities:
- Making of stringed instruments
- Demonstration and discussion of violin making with interested park visitors
- Instruction in violin making
- Rehearsals of small number of musicians
- Sales of stringed instruments and related items
Visitors are encouraged to visit and engage with Joel to learn more about this interesting skill.
